Personalized Cybersecurity Assessment Experience

Transforming cybersecurity insights into personalized business tools for executive purchasing decisions

Overview:

Led the strategy, experimentation, and development of Cisco’s first interactive cybersecurity assessment experience designed to transform a lengthy and highly technical Digital Cybersecurity Index report into a personalized, user-friendly engagement platform. The initiative combined customer experience design, dynamic content generation, and sales enablement to deliver fully customized insights, recommendations, and follow-up pathways for each participant.

Problem:

Cisco’s Digital Cybersecurity Index report contained valuable industry insights, but customers struggled to translate complex cybersecurity findings into actionable business cases for executive decision-making and technology investment conversations. CTOs often lacked practical tools to communicate cybersecurity gaps, organizational risk, and solution recommendations effectively to executive leadership teams.

At the same time, Sales teams lacked scalable ways to personalize follow-up conversations and connect customer-specific cybersecurity challenges to tailored Cisco solutions.

My Role:

Product Strategy & Solution Architecture
  • Conceptualized and defined the end-to-end personalized assessment experience, translating complex cybersecurity research into an interactive executive decision-support platform.
  • Partnered closely with Engineering teams to design dynamic content generation workflows, personalized reporting logic, and scalable merge implementation frameworks powering customized PDF and PowerPoint outputs.
  • Developed content strategy and personalization logic to ensure outputs aligned to customer-specific cybersecurity gaps, organizational priorities, and executive stakeholder needs.

Approach:

Approached the initiative as both a customer education and executive decision-support challenge, focusing on simplifying complex cybersecurity data into personalized, actionable insights that could drive stronger customer engagement and more informed purchasing conversations.

Designed the experience to connect customer assessment data, dynamic content generation, personalized reporting, and sales enablement workflows into a scalable engagement ecosystem supporting both customer education and consultative follow-up conversations.
